Chapter 22 Emma's POV I watched Amanda as she called Kevin for the billionth time just this morning. He hadnt answered any of the times, and I started to get sick of her complaining after the fourth time. "Kevin, it's me again. We have to talk, you can't just disappear.. So call me" she said, and then hung up again. I groaned "Can we go out now? You said you were ready TWENTY MINUTES AGO!" "Fine, I'll go get my purse" she pouted, and disappeared into her room. I grabbed my cup, which had previously had coffee in it, and put it in the sink. And then I did the dishes, and put everything in its place. I looked at the time, and it had been over fifteen minutes since Amanda went into her room to get her purse. I rolled my eyes, and walked into her room to see her fidgeting with her phone. "AMANDA!!!" she jumped as she heard my voice. "Heeey there, Emma" she said nervously as she saw me in her doorway. "Ten minutes! You called him again didn't you?" She looked down at her feet "Kinda" I rolled my eyes and grabbed her hand and then dragged her with me out of her room. "Emma! What the hell?! What about my purse?!" "Screw your purse! Now we're going out, and you're going to have fun" I said and slammed the door on our way out. "Where are we going anyways?" she asked me as she stuck her phone in her sweatpants and got in the passenger seat of my car. "Uhm.. I dunno.. What do you want to do?" "I don't really care" she sighed, and sank into her seat. I rolled my eyes "Well, what about bowling?" "Whatever" she said, and put her sunglasses on. "Then bowling it is" I said, and she groaned. "Wow, teenager much?" Amanda's POV I pulled my hoodie on as we stepped out of the car, and Emma immediately pulled it back down. "What the?!" "Youre not going emo on me" she said, making me roll my eyes. "And take off those freaking sunglasses" What are the odds of that happening? We walked up to the counter, Emma paid, and we got our shoes. "You're on lane 5" the lady behind the counter said. We went to it, and put our shoes on. I set up all the computer things, but it was kinda hard so, I didnt pay any attention when I heard Emma mutter uh oh under her breath. I finally figured it out, and then Emma leaned down next to me. "Hey, you have to put two more names on that she" whispered, and I looked at her confused. "What? Who?" "Uhm.. Mark and-" "Wait, Mark? Wasn't he going to see-" she had an anxious smirk on her face, which made her face look really weird. I rolled my eyes "I'll put Kevin on too" I muttered. "You're not going to regret this" she said cheery.. "Trust me, there's a good chance that he'll regret it" Annisa's POV I opened the door to see Joe standing there smiling at me. "Hey" he said, and pecked me on the cheek before I stepped to the side to let him in. "What do you want to do?" I asked as we went into the apartment. "Hm.. We could watch a movie?" "Sure" He smiled at me, and we went into the kitchen to make some popcorn. I smiled at my dad as we walked in, and he smiled back. "Hey there, what are you kids up to?" "We're watching a movie.. And we need popcorn" I smiled, and, my dad chuckled. "How's the music thing going, Joseph?" he asked politely. "It's going a little slow at the moment, sir. After my, eh, accident, we haven't gotten too much time to practice. But I think my brothers have written a little" Joe told him, and my dad nodded. "Well, you guys have fun. I have to go to the office for a while, but I'll be back tonight" he smiled, and grabbed his keys before leaving. We chatted while popping the popcorn, and then we went into the living room and put Nothing Hill in.
